Plugin window resize possible in Ardour but not Carla
I'm using the Voxengo SPAN plugin (Win64 via YADbrigde) in Ardour and Carla. In Ardour I'm able to resize the plugin window, integrated via the WM controls, but in Carla the window size is fixed. Why is this?

As an X/Y solution, why not use a Linux native spectrum analyzer? LSP, Spectacle, x-42 Spectr all are good.
I tried SPAN once and deleted it shortly afterwards.

I use LSP tools native in the DAW. Heaps easier and resizable. X42 makes a good one too. Unless there's a reason you need to specifically use a spectrum analyser in Carla? But also, native is always best imo&e
Also, they should be resizable in Carla anyway.

Re: Plugin window resize possible in Ardour but not Carla
I try to use libre and Linux-native plugins when I can. I've been using the Calf Analyzer up until now. I'm making use of the mouse-over feature which displays the note value of the current frequency when analyzing or tuning inputs from my analog synths. Calf Analyzer does the job, but it too doesn't resize it quite small window, and the mouse-over text irritatingly disapears outside the window when you go low enough on the spectrum.
Does Spectacle have this feature?

Yeah, tried that. Oh well, it's annoying, but it works at least.
