A new synthesiser from HERCs Music Systems

Post by architect@HERCs »

Dear All,

I have created a new software synthesiser for linux with JACK Audio.
Now I am looking for early adopters.
Just couple of people to start with, not a big crowd.
I would appreciate if you could help to spread the word and/or be interested in becoming an early adopter.
The information is located at: http://www.hercsmusicsystems.com.au .

About the instrument:
Name: Von Forman.
Synthesis methods: FM, Formant Shaping, Vector-based, Sample-based Subtractive, Analogue Subtractive, Ring-modulation.
Multitimbral: yes.
Individual key tuning: yes.
Modules included: programmable arpeggiator, chorus, delay, reverb, plenty of ADSR, 2 * LFO, versatile filter, bank of band-pass filters for formant shaping, VECTOR.
Global polysequencer for multitimbral mode.

Now: here is the trick.
Von Forman has an embedded programming language based on Prolog.
It makes it possible to program musical knowledge-base into the instrument and then it is able to compose music on its own.

I am happy to provide more information.

With kind regards,

Robert
