hi, i've been experimenting with the new b.oops plugin, and i want to know if and how i can do something
i want to trigger certain effects via midi, and the only way it seems i can do this is by making separate patterns with only one of each effect and triggering those via midi. but i can't figure that out either. i'm trying to use the "midi-controlled" mode and setting the available keys to the ones corresponding to each pattern, and then mapping each key to each pattern, but it seems that i'm triggering multiple patterns at once?
how do i do this? and is there a better way?
need some help with b.oops

Re: need some help with b.oops
Sorry, the present situation is a bit confusing. Due to the "MIDI triggered" I have to keep for compatibility.
B.Oops handles MIDI signals in two different ways:
First way is "MIDI triggered" playback. If this option controls the white progression bar. If "MIDI triggered" and "Restart" are selected then pressing a selected key causes starting the white progression line from column 1.
Second way is the MIDI-controlled pattern selection. There is a small piano keys symbol on each tab. Press this one and a menu for key selection should pop up. Make your choice. If you then press a piano key, the playback (see playback symbol on the tabs) should switch to the respective pattern.

Re: need some help with b.oops
Yeah, this is one way. Take an empty pattern and select "Note off" "All" on the tab menu. And "Note on" plus the respective note for the rest of the tabs. This is like the way to go in B.Oops.autumncheney wrote: ↑Mon Jun 07, 2021 2:18 pm is there any way i can trigger the patterns on and off with the note on/off commands? atm i'm using a pattern with nothing in it as my "off state" pattern
The other way is the combination with the "MIDI triggered" option. If this one is enabled (and the respective keys are also selected in the "big" piano symbol), the pattern is only played as long as the piano key is down.

Re: need some help with b.oops
okay, i'm trying to do it the second way, but it seems that when i enable the second pattern's effect, the first pattern effect plays briefly before going away
idk why this happens
