Carla failed to load file
After experimenting with diverse programs on my Linux Mint 19.3 computer suddenly LV2 plugins no longer work in Carla while VST-plugins still do. See:
What could be the problem?- LAM

Hi @LinMusGuy,
There is a similar issue on the Carla github: https://github.com/falkTX/Carla/issues/1063
On Ardour: https://discourse.ardour.org/t/avldrums ... 6/105304/4

Re: Carla failed to load file
I think the best way is from "Add Plugin" menu, if you select the plugin in the file browser i think Carla is not opening the LV2 in a correct way.

Re: Carla failed to load file
I have just now downloaded a new version of Carla, but exactly the same problem here! Strange how my old way of doing things has suddenly
become impossible! Well - I guess I will have to use the Add-button from now on, at least for the LV2 plugins. Strange!

Re: Carla failed to load file
I have now installed the latest version of Carla (2.3.0), but the final part of the installation failed:
I didn't understand the "adjust as needed" clause. Further starting Carla form the terminal gives this message:
However Carla does start. But I still can't find all of my LV2 plugins by means of the Add button.

Re: Carla failed to load file
It looks like the extension ".lv2" is no longer recognized on the Desktop of my computer, it automatically turns into ".so". And this could be a problem as I keep my LV2 plugins in a map on my Desktop...
