Could probably be fixed by making the source code available.

Linux – MOTU UltraLite AVB – Qtractor – http://suedwestlicht.saar.de/

Perhaps could but GSi are a commercial outfit so I don't think they'd do it. I don't neccessarily see using out of date libraries as a 'fix' either. I know he's used an available FFT library and if it's like the delay plugin it will ask for contact details - I don't know as I've not tried it yet but I suspect it will. To mind it's a way of them gauging interest in Linux and to see if it's worth them fully supporting with their main products in the future.

It might be worth them asking about open sourcing. This plugin looks pretty basic compared to their other plugins (at least in terms of graphics and automatable parameters) so they might be willing to share the code if they can.

I notice this is based on HiFi-LoFi FFTConvolver which is also used in KlangFalter, also from HiFi-LoFi. So it would seem to be mainly be a repackaging of KlangFalter.

Another plugin with Linux version from them https://www.genuinesoundware.com/?a=showproduct&b=48
EQuity is a six band visual equalizer with precise meterings, featuring a frequency analyzer and an IR-based preamp section. It was initially conceived as a simple EQ module to be incorporated in other audio products, then the visual EQ section and the spectrum analyzer were added. It represents an inexpensinve solution for DAWs and other audio environments where the use of a visual equalizer comes handy. The low CPU power requirement makes it perfect for being run in multiple instances on complex mixes.

MAIN FEATURES:

4 fully parametric bands with -24/+24 dB gain
First and last band can be either shelving or peak filters
High-pass input filter and Low-pass output filter
Bands can be heard in solo mode
Stereo input vu-meters with readout values
Stereo output vu-meters with readout values
Output phase meter
Switchable meter peak hold and release time
Preamp section based on IR from high-end analog gear
Resizable UI
