Here is a demo of filtering the output of an LFO with a tuned quantiser to achieve a melodic arpeggiation. (Wow!)

In case you do want to tackle this, we’ve factored and separately released the scl/kbm parser from Surge into an MIT licensed standalone tuning library that is C++ header only and extensively tested. Basically it handles “SCL/KBM -> Table of frequencies or log frequencies” for you completely. Just wiring into the synth after that.
