Exhaustive List of Free Native Linux Plugins
I switched to linux for everything 6 months back and had trouble finding VSTs for Tracktion 7 (The DAW iv'e been using since 4 years).
So, i thought an exhaustive list of plugins will do people who are trying to switch or trying to find some plugin a world of good.
I've listed down all the plugins i could find, it'd be great if we can complete the list.

Re: Exhastive List of Free Native Linux Plugins
Traverso is a DAW that uses LV2 plugins. It's really not an "audio editor".
Yeah, I know it's being referred to as an audio editor by the maintainer on his site currently, but I'm pretty sure that's just because it's been ridden with so many problems during its development that he doesn't want people to compare it to Ardour and other DAWs that have reached a stage of maturity. It's definitely not an audio editor comparable to Audacity, mhWaveEdit etc.

No, it isn’t. You can contribute with LV2 stuff as well, it’s just that I don’t know much since my DAW only supports vst.tavasti wrote:If this thread is focusing only to VST plugins, please update subject to match content.Paree wrote:I switched to linux for everything 6 months back and had trouble finding VSTs for Tracktion 7

Is your wiki open for others also, or is it only for your personal use? I mean, do we have any really working wiki for linux music making stuff?

Re: Exhastive List of Free Native Linux Plugins
It's open registration atm. I would prefer external auth systems but the OpenID plugin for MediaWiki has been broken for a few months, but anyone should be able to create a MW account though I loath that UX speedbump, and I haven't had time/interest to check out any MW OpenID Connect plugins for OAuth2 auth with GitHub or whatever.
I have SSH to the linuxaudio.org and I intend to upgrade the LA wiki and make it usable again. Real Life things have slowed down things though. It'll be sorted by spring though

Re: Exhastive List of Free Native Linux Plugins
A very minor complaint: 'exhaustive' is misspelled in the thread title. I didn't even notice it for the first couple weeks this thread's been around, but now that I've seen it I can't unsee it.
Also, Airwindows needs to be on this list. Tons of good and/or interesting VST plugins there. (And I means tons. So many you'll likely have to do some deep diving to find the ones that might actually be useful for you.) http://www.airwindows.com/
On the lv2 side, there's at least the x42 and eq10q bundles that are worth a look, if one happens to be on a host that supports lv2. (Alas, I'm currently working on Reaper, which doesn't support it.)

Thanks for all your links and suggestions. I’ll go through it and update the first post.
I’ve also fixed the typo in the title.

Have you tried using Carla as a bridge to run lv2 plugins on reaper?

Re: Exhastive List of Free Native Linux Plugins
About that LV2 // Reaper trouble, it may be worth to test a WIP from X42 that might well be made on this exact purpose:elcalen wrote:A very minor complaint: 'exhaustive' is misspelled in the thread title. Don't shoot me if it doesn't work I'm only the mesenger (Besides I can't test it since any version of Reaper I tried to use warped off in dark bubbles...)
