Convert rhythm to MIDI

Post by Basslint »

Hello,

do you know any plugin which take an audio track and convert its rhythm data (note placement and velocity) to MIDI?

No need for pitch tracking, even outputting always the same note would be fine.

I think one of the aubio tools can do that.
note: aubio is not a typo. On mobile now, can't check the package, just search your package manager.

I think there's an LSP plugin that can do that, it's meant for drums but it might work with other material if you just need the rhythm.

Wow, it did not occur to me that it's the same concept as MIDI drum triggers! Thanks :D
