Saving Guitarix presets
You know how guitarists are...When we find THE sound (or something approximately) we stick a gum to the amp and pedal knobs, we cover it in epoxy, and then a thousands of layers of duct tape in a futile try to mummify THE sound. Well, I think I found a sound in Guitarix that I don't want to change in the near future. So, how do I save the preset, in case I format the PC, for example?

In guitarix you could go to Preset Selection -> Organize and then click in the Bank column before the X:Bankname to mark it as read only to avoid a unwanted edit.
A nice and save place will beAleks wrote:Maybe backing up banks folder in the config folder?

So you could get/restore it anywhere you are, and maybe others will love your settings as well.
On the road again.

Great! I will do that, thanks! Although my sound depends a lot on certain IR's.

You could put a note about that in the description, maybe with a link were to get the IR's. So others will notice it before they try your settings.Aleks wrote:Great! I will do that, thanks! Although my sound depends a lot on certain IR's.
