What Linux VST can produce rich pads like this?

I guess this should be possible with zynfusion, zynaddsubfx or yoshimi.

You could probably get sounds like that out of Yoshimi or ZynAddSubFX, if you are willing to commit the time to learn how to customize them. You might even be able to get Bristol to do something like that.

Besides abovementioned synths, I think Helm is capable of producing similar sounds too.

Both the pad and the lead sound would be fairly easy to synthesise in both Yoshimi and ZynAddSubFx
This is a track I made a few years ago that is 100% Yoshimi. It uses a variety of both lead and pad sounds.
The Yoshimi guy {apparently now an 'elderly'}
