32bit LADSPA Plugins On 64bit Ubuntu

I recently set up a new music production computer running Ubuntu 18.04, which is 64bit. I also have all of the KX Studio audio applications and plugins installed. There are several LADSPA plugins I regularly use with Audacity, which are only available in 32bit builds, so they do not show up as available. Is there any way to install the 32bit version of Audacity on a 64bit build of Ubuntu? If so, how? If not, is there any way to get the 64bit build to utilize 32bit LADSPA plugins? I am also having the same issue with Carla...

Thank you for the response. The Carla bridge works perfectly! That is a start. Unfortunately the i386 build of Audacity will not install on Ubuntu 18.04. I guess it is what it is.... If you ever think of a way to bridge 32 bit plugins in it (Audacity) let me know.
