Hey guys! I'm hoping this wonderful community can help with my noise level in Guitarix...
I have a constant hum in the guitar sound, almost like a 120hz hum in a tube amp, and I can't seem to get rid of it. I have tried multiple pickups through it with the same noise sound coming through, I've tried humbuckers, piezos, single coils double tapped, etc. There is always a hiss, maybe more like a sizzle.
So I'm wondering: what settings do you guys use with guitarix?
I've attached my settings, can anyone tell me where I went wrong?
Please and thanks
Dillon
PS, I have tube amps with less hum here at home, and that's why I found it odd that a simulator would have more hum...

This sounds like a ground loop problem, do you work with a laptop or a PC? If it is a Laptop you may disconnect the power supply.dillon wrote:I have a constant hum in the guitar sound, almost like a 120hz hum in a tube amp
If it's a PC you may try a other wall connector.
Otherwise, if you've a Di-Box with a GND.lift you may try that.
On the road again.
