Carla's side panel does not appear in MusE(Ardour)

Post by Min »

Hi
First of all, I'm NOT good at English so I ask for your understanding. :D

I am using Carla as a sampler(sample player) with MusE.
The problem is that when Carla is loaded on MusE 3.x (or Ardour 5.x), side panel does not appear in Carla's GUI.
* It does not show up even if Carla "Settings - view side panel" is ticked.

One thing to note is that when Carla is loaded in stand alone mode or on Qtractor, the side panel is well displayed.

But since, I prefer MusE, I want to solve this problem.
Help me, please.

Excuse my ignorance, I only know Carla at a glance.
Is there some support missing in MusE that would allow for this use case?

You're not doing anything wrong, it is just not visible, by design.
If you use Carla-Patchbay plugin though, the sidebar will be there.

Thank you for your reply.

Thanks to you, the question surely solved.
I will try the Carla-Patchbay plugin as you have advised.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep appreciation for your hard work, including Carla. :D

This question originated from my ignorance, and the MusE team has not missed it.

MusE is the best sequencer for my taste.
I am always grateful to the MusE team for your development. :D
