Re: BespokeSynth - modular softsynth/graphical programming env./DAW - Linux build?
Oh that's a shame. I've filed a bug for it so hopefully there will be a fix at some point.

Re: BespokeSynth - modular softsynth/graphical programming env./DAW - Linux build?
I had this when tried to open one of my projects:
Don't know if it's a coincidence, but until I didn't add VST plugins the project opened correctly.
Code: Select all
$ BespokeSynth
Attempting to load VST: /home/xxx/Audio/DAW/BespokeSynth/vst/Galactic.so
Creating VST instance: Galactic
Initialising VST: Galactic (1.0.0.0)

Attempting to load VST: /home/xxx/Audio/DAW/BespokeSynth/vst/Srsly2.so

Re: BespokeSynth - modular softsynth/graphical programming env./DAW - Linux build?
In the last updates I can compile flawlessy from github, however I have another problem now, I can't save prefabs.
The dialog for saving prefabs open and I can choose the name of the prefab, but as I press save the dialog close and nothing is saved in the "prefabs" folder, and the cursor remain in a state as I was dragging to draw a selection rectangle....

Re: BespokeSynth - modular softsynth/graphical programming env./DAW - Linux build?
I just noticed an issue with prefabs as well, I had saved one and not really looked into it but last night I noticed the one I saved wasn't showing in the drop down menu. I looked in the ~/BespokeSynth/prefabs and it is there but it was not given the .pfb extension, after adding that it is now showing in the menu.LAM wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 10:32 am In the last updates I can compile flawlessy from github, however I have another problem now, I can't save prefabs.

I know, I'm delaying more than I can the need to register on it.

Tried saving and loading prefab on another machine and it works.
On my main machine I created symlinks to another location in the default "Documents" folder (that's quite unusual for Linux, isn't it ), maybe the problem is there.

To enable VST (2) support when compiling BespokeSynth from source requires you to set the VST SDK.
Is there any alternative (FOSS) to enable it without using the proprietary headers? I've looked at FST but I'm not sure how to do it, any help?
[EDIT] Solved by myself, installed fst-dev package and pointed the first cmake command like this:
