Thanks for the information as I'm absolutely unfamiliar with Arch. Do you have calf-ladspa from AUR installed?

shouldn't be a hijacking as I started this thread and someone mentioned, I think you did Markus calf vinyl so we're on topic I think.
to your question, no, ladspa was the first problem I think and the git does not have the ladspa. At least it shouldn't. I better check my system.

EDIT: no ladspa calf.

Are you able to take/upload a backtrace from gdb? Even if you don't care about Calf it would be cool to sort it out for other users.
