Any synths that accept sysex messages to set tuning table?
I want to use a tuning software that can send sysex messages to synths to change their tuning tables. Can any Linux synths accept these messages and tune accordingly? The significance is this allows on-the-fly tuning changes, which isn't possible with just loading a set file.

The only one I know of that works is timidity. Depending on the distance from the actual sampled notes, it can get very distorted.
Fluidsynth is supposed to take MTS too, but I couldn't get that to work. It does however take it's own tunning files, which scala can output. Fluid also has a much better interpolation algorithm, so I usually set scala to try the tunings with timidity and then I export the tunings for real use with fluidsynth.
Are you trying to do this with scala?
Good luck!
