Pitch detect

Postby rastagallo » Fri Nov 14, 2014 2:17 pm

Hi to everybody :D

I'm searching for a plugins that analyze the sound coming from a mic, find outs what pitch (approximated) is playing, so that I can use the signal to drive via Voltage Control (or similar) a synth, effect, ecc.
Have you got any advice?

Thanks :D

GxTuner from the guitarix LV2 suite does pitch to midi conversation, but, results are not really exact. I use it to drive some (background) percussion/bass when jamming alone with my guitar.
However, it may suite your needs if you plan to do some experimental music.
On the road again.

Thanks, I will try using that and see if it fits my need :)

It should be not really exact, 'cause I'm trying to add some electronic background while I play my clarinet :)

Is there any other way (ex: a spectral analysis tool) that I could use to drive digital synth\events?

:D
