Oh, yeah. I've seen it in the developer forum. Too easy to spot since there are knobs in ZynReverb.

Perhaps LinuxDSP can port an interface for SR-2B that is small enough to fit in a Carla rack without having to open up an LV2 interface.

Music Interest: New Age w/ a mix of modern smooth jazz, light techno/trance & downtempo -- something Epcot Future World/Tomorrowland-flavored.

This may be a silly question, but what is the purpose of running Carla as a lv2 plugin? If I'm using a host which supports plugins why add an extra layer (Carla) to load a plugin? Well, I could see you could add support for plugins not supported by the host, e.g. running a dssi plugin in Ardour via Carla. Can Carla host itself?

Will this be limited to carla as lv2 or do you also plan to add carla as dssi, ladspa, …. This would e.g. Renoise enable to save the state of LV2 plugins.

I see, I'll just keep spamming the Renoise forums until they add lv2 support :)
Edit:
Seems like they already started working on it http://forum.renoise.com/index.php?/top ... id__308047

Doesn't this also potentially allow presets spanning multiple plugins? (remember rakarrack's preset banks?) I think that would be most excellent.

Ok. I guess I was thinking of basically just loading/editing a carpx file in the plugin. Everyone could save/share their carla presets. To dream big, the person making it could decide which parameters of which plugin get exposed to the host. Kind of like the "gui" editor in Alsa Modular Synth. But easier to edit. :)

Even just being able to use hexter in Ardour is a very welcome feature though. Cool work.

Wow! That will make Hexter and Whysynth (both DSSI) work in Ardour3!

And it will probably make it possible to get around some LV2-GUI-issues:
- IR crashes in Qtractor but works in Ardour3
- Klangfalter crashes in Ardour3 but works in Qtractor

Great, man!

Carla in non-mixer would be nice as workaround for the api's it doesnt support, especially if you could automate the plugins in Carla then. But Carla in another host is still an workaround imo, e.g. it would be better if the host supported the plugin api's itself
