I am on KDE neon with Focal base (20.04) and use wine-devel (Wine development branch) from the official Wine PPA. The kxstudio wineasio and Carla win32/64 bridge packages work with "wine-staging", "wine-stable" and "wine-development", but not "wine-devel".
In the case of wineasio, the packages install, but dll symlinks are only created in "/opt/wine-stable" and "/opt/wine-staging", not "/opt/wine-devel".
Trying to install the Carla win32/64 bridge packages makes apt want to remove parts of "wine-devel" and install "wine-development" instead, which is an older Wine version from the Ubuntu repositories. Do these programs actually have a compatibility issue with wine-devel, or is this just a packaging oversight?
wineasio and Carla win32/64 bridge packages don't work with wine-devel
