Hello everyone
This is my first post here so bear with me if this has already been answered or is obvious.
I recently switched from MacOS to Linux (Ubuntu Studio with KX) which has just been fantastic I have to say. Anyway, I really like the modular approach and I _LOVE_ kxstudio. But I do a lot of multi channel work with 12-64 channel outputs from programs and I have yet to figure out how to patch all outputs from say one program to all inputs of another program like you can in QJackCtl. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Thanks

Hey there,
I'm glad you like the Linux audio experience.
Catia should expose all inputs and outputs of all jack-aware programs. If it's not, there is some troubleshooting to do.
Can you please explain to us what you're doing exactly? What do you want to patch where?

Thanks for the reply. I should clarify that all necessary ins and outs are exposed but I would like to know if there is a trick to patching say 16 outs of one program to the 16 ins of another in one click? Like when I click on two programs in QJackCtl and click connect and then it just patches all like that.Openmastering wrote:Hey there,

I don't think multichannel patching is fully a thing in Carla yet. There is a more basic feature though; Try right clicking on a client and selecting the destination client to connect to in the submenu there.

As far as I remember, it's possible in qjackctl to drag an input device to an output and it would patch in to out one to one.
Not 100% sure, though.
