I just ran pkcon update and it said carla needs to be updated and then completed. But I do get the same thing from apt update, surely can only be temporary.

It seems to be a more general problem with linuxaudio.org. Not too long ago I think it was compromised and took a little while to get it back up. (If I remember well...)

I have no idea what is the issue this time, but hope it is nothing as serious, though.

Yeah I hope so too.

Btw if you run neon they don't recommend using apt to upgrade, I forget the details but there's a post on their blog about it. They recommend using pkcon or discover. That said, I haven't had any problems with apt but best practices and all that I guess.

I'm using Debian stable and most of the updates are done by synaptic in the background, except of the kx stuff.

Duly noted. The whole website is down now but it's a different error message than before which was connection refused.

It went from ->

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Apache/2.4.25 (Debian) Server at linuxaudio.org Port 80

to -> This site can’t be reached

Likely and hopefully due to troubleshooting.

I unchecked KX Repos in Synaptic for the time being. Hopefully it will be back up soon.
