I just moved from ubuntu to debian stretch. In ubuntu the multimedia menu was subdivided by task. i.e audio, video, graph or something like that. Is it possible to do this menu sub-dividing under debian and KXStudio?
TIA.

Did you run the autoconfiguration with KXStudio Welcome?
That should do the trick. I use stretch with xfce and it rearranged the menu perfectly.

Thats interesting!
I was under the impression that the menu changed after I ran the "force reset of all setting"
So do I just remember it wrong, oder was the package installed but still had to be run, after I installed the kxstudio meta packages.
I propably would have had the same menu structure just by logging off and on again!?
Btw, in the description of the kxstudio-menu package it says : "works on Gnome2, KDE4 and XFCE sessions."
It works on the LXDE Menu, too.
