Hello, I'm trying for some while getting my computer run with the nvidia driver to be used as audio workstation. I'm getting strange noise and clicks after installing the nvidia driver not only when using an audio application, it starts right after installing the driver and rebooting.
I started this thread before but this was getting messed up (as I had another problem before too)

So I though about a new method. I would like to try if it's better when using the real time kernel in combination with the nvidia driver. I did some research on the internet and found out that it has to patched somehow.
On my debian stretch I installed this kernel package here.
https://packages.debian.org/stretch/lin ... e-rt-amd64
And now I want this kernel to run with the nvidia driver. (The standard kernel with nvidia driver does not work for me very well)
So my question is how to do this? I haven't found that much information what and how to patch the kernel (most guides are for older kernels). So I thought maybe I can use the kernel or driver from KX studio repositories. Would that work? Or is there a tutorial how to do it?
Thank you very much. Much appreciated.
