It's currently pre-beta, so expect issues with it.
But since it's something I'm really interested in, I added a package for it already.
I've got some dependency errors (Linux Mint Mate 18.2):

vcvrack:
Depende: libglew1.10 (>=1.10.0) but it is not installable
Depende: libglfw3 mas não será instalado
Depende: libzip2 (>=0.10) but it is not installable

ardour won't load/scan calf plugins after the last update. Are calf-ladspa and calf-plugins-git packages supposed to be installed if I have 'Calf Plugin Pack for JACK'?

(liblinuxsampler and libgxw0).
For guitarix, that wouldn't help that much.
On recent distributions guitarix consist of the following packages:
guitarix, guitarix-common, guitarix-doc, guitarix-ladspa, guitarix-lv2, gxw-glade, libgxw0, libgxw-dev, libgxwmm0, libgxwmm-dev

except in gxw-glade, and maybe guitarix-doc (I don't know really), overwrites will happen in all of them.
A minimal guitarix install on such distributions is guitarix, guitarix-common, libgxw0 and libgxwmm0, I guess most people will have installed guitarix-lv2 as well.

Maybe a solution will be to mark your guitarix package as conflict with the packages above?

Yes, guitarix is now maintained by the multimedia team, they decided it's time to split guitarix as it is grown to much.

I tried installed the "kxstudio-meta-all" (Ubuntu-Studio 14.04) but it says there are broken packages to fix (1). When I selected "fix broken packages" I got this:
E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.
E: Unable to correct dependencies

it provides a nice learning curve so that developers need to learn a few things before actually trying to make audio tools.
and since it's targeted at developers, compiling should not be a problem.
thanks falktx, i agree with your thought that beyond enthusiasm then you have to understand what is really stable as a program to be inserted without problems into an effective repository without this package could hurt the operating system

It's strange it's not updated yet on kxstudio.
I hope everything is fine with falkTX.

I would love to see GxTUner updated. It recently has a feature to tune to Just Intonation.
It doesn't automatically updates along with Guitarix.

Thanks in advance,

As a JI person myself (despite being one who doesn't need a tuner when tuning to JI), I like this request, but I'll help out and say:

Package requests go at https://github.com/KXStudio/Repository/issues

Please post the request there. Thanks
