Hi there,
I have a question regarding the sound quality of the alsa jack bridge: I expericence some kind of sound degradation when using the alsa jack bridge in comparison to directly connecting to jack. Is this a normal thing? it is nothing too bad, but there is some high level distortion when i listen through vlc player, mocp or browser. I use manjaro linux with jack2 and cadence... thank you !!

Re: sound quality with the alsa - jack bridge
I quite often have problems to get the zita bridge running. Sometimes it needs several trials and it's only possible when the browser is closed. Why is that? In general it's only possbile when first the alsa bridge is activated and the computer is on for some time. Then switching to zita sometimes works and sometimes not. But to directly start the zita bridge never works.
