gigedit and linuxsampler ignore each other

Hi,

I would like to work on my fresh-installed kxstudio on linuxsampler with qsampler as frontend and have gigedit for live-editing.

Qsampler replies with "Could not launch an appropriate instrument editor for the given instrument! Make sure you have an appropriate instrument editor like 'gigedit' installed and that it placed its mandatory DLL file into the sampler's plugin directory." when I click on edit.
When I call linuxsampler by the terminal, gigedit is listed as registered instrument. the folder /usr/lib/linuxsampler/plugins exists, but is empty.

I tried to recompile gigedit-0.2.0, but it seems it could not find linuxsampler:
"checking for LINUXSAMPLER... no
Required liblinuxsampler version not found!
You need to have liblinuxsampler version 0.5.0 installed. Support for on-the-fly editing with LinuxSampler will be disabled."

I don't understand what I'm doing and I'm confused by all the things I read on the internet on my searchs. Any help would be cool! Thank you!
