Hi!
Does anybody know the lighter way to save Carla-Rack lv2 state in Ardour's session?
For example I use
TSE 808, Poulin Lecto and Poulin LeCab 2 (wine installation) to make guitar sound:

and after I usually save preset thru "Export as" button in Carla's menu and save Ardour's session. It's nise and reminds GuitarRig programm...
But.. next time I load this Ardour's session, Carla doesn't load necessary preset. It goes blank:

For that reason I've to save particular Carla's preset to every track of session, give notes about presets for those tracks (for possibility to remember "what is for"). The same problem I've got with lv2 plugins in Carla-Rack.
It would be better Ardour could save Carla's state in session..
Thanks!

Re: To save Carla state in Ardour
I tried to use Carla-rack LXVST instead of Carla-rack LV2. Ardour saves the state, but loads after restarting through time: Some time carla sets every plugins, some times - looses few of them.

Thanks, falkTX, for answer. And also for KXStudio tools etcetera. Very nice design and ideas//
You are right I tested some builds of ardour from audiotools repository.. I'm new in linux and not a programmer. And now found in practice meaning of stable versions. I've installed version 4.7.0 and it seems working, but only with native linux plugins. Wine VST plugins steel disappear sometimes. Need testing different ways (Carla-rack, Carla-rack FX, Carla patch-bay...LV2, LXVST). Also looking to Guitarrix side, may be there are some so cool stuff like Poulin, I did't use it before, also need testing. But Guitarrix don't have LV2 rack (as I know) and it's not so comfortable to use Jack routing and saving projects, wire connectings and other... May be one of stable way will be using Carla LV2 plagin as rack for Guitarrix LADPSA plugins, which I fond in Agduor's plugins list.
Also Carla works with Shortcircuit sampler and saves presets, but not stable (need to reload rpesets). Linux sampler uses only SFZ, GIG end SF2 formats..
Thanks!
