I haven't been on the forum in a while because I built a new computer and dual boot and do all my music stuff on one partition and all my tinkering and messing around on a normal ubuntu release. So on my kxstudio partition I disabled all updates to the best of my ability and haven't installed any of the goofy stuff I normally mess around with. Since then Kxstudio has been bullet proof so I wanted to say thanks to falktx. I was also wondering if anything there is any reason for me to reinstall any updates or anything. I know ardour is at 4.0 now. Really though I get two xruns in the first 5 minutes my computer is on probably because it's searching the internet for updates or something after that it runs flawlessly/ i am running 14.04 over ubuntu 14.04. So any reason for me to reinstall? If it's not broke don't fix it?
Also on my other distro I been messing around with some open source stuff. They were talking about non open source flight simulators so I had to look up open source flight simulators. I found flight gear and it is really awesome and it looks like the possibilities are endless for something like that. Which led me to look up race car games and I stumbled upon Speed dreams. Which seemed kind of the same way. Then looking stuff up I saw Falktx packaged it on get hub and I had to double check if it was the same falktx. So just wondering what's your involvement in that? It seems like it has a bit to go but it's still pretty awesome.
A couple things.
