What is the plan for KXStudio moving to KDE 5?
I remember when KDE 4 came out and I think its fair to say that the transition from KDE 3 to KDE 4 was problematical for many folks.
Also, what advantages will KDE 5 provide to the end user over KDE 4?

KDE 5 isn't going to be a total overhaul like v3 -> v4 was, its a much more incremental, evolutionary update.
From what I understand, the main advantages of KDE 5 over 4 are Wayland support and KDE and its libs have supposedly become much more modular which should translate to a potentially more lightweight and even more configurable desktop.
