Less than a week after I requested KDEnlive 0.9.8 in this thread they released 0.9.10 so I'd like to update my request.

http://www.kdenlive.org/discover/0.9.10

Up-to-date frei0r plugins and a +1 for Musescore as a new default KX app.

Also, what did you decide about including Sunvox on the KXS ISO?

Thanks!! FWIW, I *welcome* problematic plugins disappearing. It's overwhelming enough to sort through the plugins that all work smoothly…

The VST meta-package now includes all VSTs, even those that have LV2 variants.
Hmm, that makes sense, but I would prefer an easy way to install *only* the VSTs that lack LV2 variants…

There's only 3 right now that fit in that description: foo-yc20-vst, jackass, and pizmidi-plugins.
Ok, thanks. Maybe there's an easy way to identify what this list is if it changes much in the future? (Don't waste too much time on this though, it doesn't sound like it'll change much)

it doesn't need to be packaged/built, just run it directly:

Code: Select all

java -jar <file.jar>
Yes, in fact I ran it after I made this post. There were some problems-- it didn't see my midi controller, and when I clicked on preferences it locked up. Maybe someone else has had better luck..?
