Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
Hi
I see that TAL has a number of cool VST plugins for Win and Mac. I Particularly liked their TAL-U-NO-LX Juno 6 emulation:
https://tal-software.com/products/tal-u-no-lx and the SH-101:
https://tal-software.com/products/tal-bassline
I have noticed that some TAL-plugins are already available. Any chance that thes or any of the remaining TAL plugins of https://tal-software.com/products/ could be cross-compiled for inclusion in kxstudio? Or alternatively, is it possible to host their Win versions in Carla?
/Frank
Edit: Maybe I should do some more research before writing . I see that it is easy to host the Win32 versions in Carla, and has been so for a long time. In my defence, I am still new to linux and soft synth plugins, as I have mainly used real instruments and DAW.

Ah. That's a showstopper. But the WinVST versions actually load and work in Carla. Good job!

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
So no need of a package. It comes as a zip, and a text file tells you were to put the different files. I found it interesting, and the demo is limited to : no presets saving, no audio rendering for the standalone version. If you use the vst within Carla, you can save "states" that are equivalent to presets.ssj71 wrote:it has a free (gratis) linux demo but its not free (libre) or opensource.briandc wrote:Just came across this this morning: Monique!
Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
Is it possible to update drumgizmo to version 0.9.10? I have read that it gained linux vst support in version 0.9.9. It seems 0.9.10 is in the process of being added to Debian sid, but the package I downloaded only seems to have been built with lv2 support and not linux vst.

Greetings,

The Carve distortion and Richter tremolo plugins can be built for Linux, I've tested both in Bitwig 1.3.9.
Best,

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
Philip Hazel's been coding it since at least 1997, when it was known as Philip's Music Scribe. At that time it got a chapter in the book Beyond MIDI: The Handbook Of Musical Codes. Nice to see that he's still working on it.briandc wrote:Here's something I hadn't heard of before, mentioned over at linuxquestions: Phillip's Music Writer
