can anyone reproduce this too?
Yes. When I start it from the menu, nothing visible happens. When I start it from the terminal, I get the following.

amsynth: VoiceBoard.cc:74: void VoiceBoard::UpdateParameter(Param, float): Assertion `!"invalid LFO waveform"' failed.

The Nootka .deb packages say they are fine for Debian, but the current download does *not* actually include the fix yet…

A great program, unfortunately no longer maintained. The author has indicated that a successor would appear at some point, probably targeted for SuperCollider3 (where he hangs his hat now), but so far it hasn't arrived.

An old article about AlgoScore:

Best,

It's still something he wants to do, but these days he is busy making (very good) ipad music apps, so it's unlikely to happen soon.

Hello,

This is my first post here - total newbie to kxstudio and linux in general. Long time windows user who developed a few plugins with synthedit, and now I want to go deeper and try hand-coding some of my designs. Faust (the DSP language) looks good, since it can compile the code into many plugin formats. In fact, I took the leap into linux just to try it out.

Is it possible to package the latest version of faust and its IDE, called faustworks?

Sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/p/faudiostream/_list/git
Project Homepage: http://faust.grame.fr/

Thanks!
