MIDI devices gone? O.o

Post by rastagallo »

Hi!
First, I want to thank you all for the support that you give.

Second, I have a problem that concerns saving and MIDI devices, so I hope someone could help me!
When I start jack, everything is ok: audio connections, midi devices, sound working ecc...
The problem is when I load a previously saved studio: all the MIDI devices are gone.
And, if I run in a terminal "a2j -e" it gives me those error in the LOG:

Code: Select all

Please help!

This is the error you get when JACK is not running so JACK probably shut down after having tried to restore the session. Is it a big session with many connections? Maybe you've hit the number of maximum ports for JACK, default is 256.
