Developers: make your app Debian/Ubuntu friendly!

Hi,

When you want to have your application in Debian/Ubuntu/64studio you should try to make the apps as Debian/Ubuntu friendly as possible.

- Discuss with the Debian Multimedia team how:

pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org (open list)

1) I think it is important to state clearly which build-depends and depends need to build and run the program properly.

2) Also state clearly the copyrights of the app and the files the app uses which are copyrighted by someone else.

3) State clear who the Authors are.

4) Make an manpage with gmanedit or help2man, which is pretty easy.

5) you don't have to set up an /debian folder yourself. It's better if the package maintainer does this.
