today I found a nice "guide to the jack(1+2) source" postet by micu :

that could be helpfull to get a better understand from the jack source.

Very nice indeed. If it seems daunting, don't worry: those docs describe jack 'internals' - which is useful background to know, but to write jack-aware applications you don't necessarily have to delve so deeply.
