Looking for full-time job
Hi guys!
I've been working in enterprise Java development for many years.
Also you well know me as a developer of LSP Plugins bundle.
Since I'm very tired of the enterprise Java, I'm also looking forward to find a full-time job related to the audio processing software development.
Here's my CV in english:

You may ship your questions and offers directly by mail - sadko4u <$> gmail.com

Re: Looking for full-time job
Wow! I wish I had a contact at an audio software developer that I could connect you with!
But since I don't, I can at least give you an endorsement. In the last year I have migrated to LSP plugins, and I think they are great! Every one of my projects lately has had at least one if your plugins. I mostly use the compressors and limiters, but lately I have been using the noise gate on my podcasts, and it works well. Thank you for these excellent tools!
I wish you the best with your job search.

Hey, you do look a little familiar to me. Reminding me at the younger Terry Bozzio.

Re: Looking for full-time job
I wish we could crowdfund you, Vladmir...for real, you are one of the most talented and productive developers and have done a lot for the community!
I am trying to understand why crowdfunding rarely works out. The Airwindows developer, who is also very talented and makes FLOSS software, manages to make what a junior developer makes in Italy:
https://www.patreon.com/airwindows
which is not bad for someone who's working on stuff he loves at his own pace without any bosses , but still worrying considering he has almost 700 patrons and tens of thousands of users!

The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common. [Acts 4:32]

Re: Looking for full-time job
The monthly amount of what Airwindows developer gains on Patreon not every Senior Software Developer in Russia can afford.
The average salary for the software developer in Russia varies between $1500 and $3000 netto (with all taxes already excluded). There are also many marginal government companies which expect software developers work for food or $400-$500/month.
Current crowdfunding allows me to gain additional $100-$200/month. Also one-time donations happen, too, and vary from $10 to $60, thanks to sponsors.
The LSP Plugins project also helped me to get some short-time contracts for development/consulting. The main disadvantage is just they are short-time.
Anyway, I have Liberapay, Paypal, Bountysource and Patreon accounts. Anyone who wants support my job can submit regular donations:

That's sad Linux audio production is small, what if you're awesome LSP plugins could reach an more wider audience and get more advertised on platforms like mac and windows, but still have the roots on linux and being open source.

I'm working on that but that still requires many things to do. The 1.2.0 release should start the porting to Windows at least.marbangens wrote: ↑Mon Apr 12, 2021 11:07 pm That's sad Linux audio production is small, what if you're awesome LSP plugins could reach an more wider audience and get more advertised on platforms like mac and windows, but still have the roots on linux and being open source.

Re: Looking for full-time job
When its done, you can send a link to all plugin reviewers on YouTube and daw/studio magazines. We can all help you. Those plugins would look good in a magazine when they read that it's "free" I think most people would go and download them. Maybe 3-7 of 100 will be like, what the heck I can give this person 5 dollars a month If Linux daw is like 0,1% of what people use and windows is 75%, people love them on Linux sosadko4u wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 8:06 amI'm working on that but that still requires many things to do. Re: Looking for full-time job
I think I won't make them free for Windows/MacOS users. And I think this will be fair for users that try to launch plugins on the proprietary platform.marbangens wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 12:14 am When its done, you can send a link to all plugin reviewers on YouTube and daw/studio magazines. That's perfect, I love fair even better, Im not sure about the licensing, you can sell the binary but still you have to publish the source code I think. Good idea. They can have an account so that the download will be available for them. I think you know this, you will figure it outsadko4u wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 8:08 amI think I won't make them free for Windows/MacOS users. I think I would do it like this if they become a patreon, they can download or update one plugin per month. Otherwise they have pay for ever one of them and get to update that one.
