Looking for Collaborators on Open Source Project (Python)

Post by karang »

I am looking for some people to help me develop a pet project of mine. I am trying to clone this software and make it open source:
https://www.vochlea.co.uk/
It's basically a voice midi controller. you beat box into a mic and that triggers midi notes!
I have gotten most of the basic pieces working. I can record audio, slice into samples, classify sounds and play midi notes. I still need to put it all together and finally get a nice GUI interface. You can check out the github repo here:

If anyone is interested on working on this with me please reach out. I can walk you through the code so far. Thanks!

First, welcome aboard! :D

Second, nice idea! I personally don't have the skills to collaborate but a suggestion I can give is to set up a proper license, so that this program can be shipped in distros.
