LV2 version of Freq Tweak?
I wonder if it'd be possible to make an LV2 plugin out of FreqTweak to use in all cool DAWs we have.
If you don't know it - it's a program that can split the audio signal in frequency domain into separate streams and then perform some cool processing independently on each frequency.
It has a very intuitive GUI where you can draw graphs defining parameters for the processing.
It can do some pretty unique stuff in realtime, being a very useful tool for sound design. However it being a standalone app makes it inconvenient to use inside DAWs as all you do neds to be bounced, and the presets aren't saved with the DAW session.
I think turning this program into an LV2 plugin could fix that and give it a new life.

What do you think?

of course! But its going to require a pretty notable effort, possibly so huge that no developer would ever want to (I'd have to look at the source). Maybe somebody has the time. I'd love to play with it as a plugin too.unfa wrote:I wonder if it'd be possible

I absolutely love this program.
I suppose a plugin would be nice, but I don't really mind routing signal through it then back into the DAW. It's like routing signal from the mixing board to a crossover: it's an additional piece to be managed on the desk, but totally worth it.
