trying to build dssi-vst

I am trying to make install dssi-vst but get an error about ljack.
I have all of the jack dev libs installed. I had this problem with z earlier in the process and figured out that it was looking for 32bit versions.
AFAIK, there are no 32bit libjack files?

Any advice would be helpful
Using Crunchbang amd64
