Spotify and Bandcamp are for two different audiences though. Bandcamp is better for smaller bands because it provides facility for small dedicated audiences. Same as patreon et al, which in the olden days were called fan clubs. New artists make money now are instead of trying to get 0.00003 cents x 1 million streams is by getting more money per person but providing something better, exclusive and more personalised than a worthless digital stream.
