To all musicians,
The second Mittelalternativ.de "Challenge" will take place soon, with the melody release starting March 29, 2021 until April 26.
https://mittelalternativ.de/2021-challenge-en/
The challenge is to record and publish a piece of music (medieval, folk, or similar) within one month. A given melody must be used. At the end, the public can vote on which piece they liked best.
The melody should be treated as if it originated truly from past centuries. Do whatever is common in your music scene or whatever you like in general. In addition, the melody is in the public domain (without copyright protection) and can therefore be used for all times as you like.
All information and rules can be found here: https://mittelalternativ.de/2021-challenge-en/

The Mittelalternativ.de Challenge 2021 has just started! The melody has been published.
https://mittelalternativ.de/2021-challenge-en/
From now until April 26th there is time to record and publish a piece of music based on a given melody. The melody should be treated as if it originated truly from past centuries.
Do whatever is common in your musical style or whatever you like. The melody is in the public domain (without copyright protection) and can therefore be used for all times as you like.
The resulting music is yours alone. At the end, the public can vote on which piece they liked best.
I would be very happy if you would participate.
