In general that is. I know a guy who officially medical tested can hear up to 22K.

I fully agree with that. That is why i am confused about how some people use Nyquist to say impossible so useless, were others use the same Nyquist to say it is possible and therefore is usefull. I miss the subjectivity in that in discussions were one off both must have it wrong.
