But I need your help guys, because I have two things in my Bitwig Project that you might find fishy in terms of the rulez.
I would kindly ask for help or direction towards a "rules compatible" submission
1.) I have used a rhythmic Volume Automation Tool in Bitwig. Do you think I can use this or should I draw Volume-Automation by hand myself
2.) I have used Bitwigs MultiBand-Splitter in one place. Is it allowed to use or do I have to use mdaSplitter and complex channel routing instead

Bitwig plug-ins in the way I use them are only little helpers that avoid me wasting time in doing everything "by hand". They do not produce sound by themselves.

What do you recommend in order to *not* get disqualified?

(Approving these first entries took a little longer, because I had to iron out some issue with the track list first. Approving the next entries should go much faster now. And as long as you publish your (conforming) entry in time, it will be in the competition, even if the approval happens after the deadline.)

@Peter: I think the Bitwig plugins you mention are ok. The Volume Automation Tool falls under the "gain" category, and the MultiBandSplitter under the "eq" category. If people are using a multi-band compressor, that's essentially the same as a splitter and several compressors.

I uploaded my track C18H25NO as a draft version. Hope it's ok as it is. I have chosen the Liscence CCO. Is was a bit of a struggle to get a flac file with a lower sampling rate that sounds like the original in 48 kHz.

If there are any problems please let me know.

Hi guys,

another question about the rulez: Rule 11 says "When submitting your entry, you MUST list all plug-ins you used for creating your track".
I've seen that the submission up to this point all include a count per plug-in. Is this necessary, or does "list" means, to mention the vendor/name.
I'm usually too lazy to count everything, because my projects tend to get big
But in order to be compliant to the rulez, I would go through the chore of counting

Just listing the software (incl. plug-ins) you used is enough.

I think listing the number of instances is just a tradition from the One-Synth-Challenge from KVR. The rules ares there just so to make it easier for me to judge and more transparent to everybody else, that the track was made according to the rules.

In a fully "Open Software World" everybody would just link to the repo with their DAW project, and all the files in the project would be non-proprietary and in a documented and readable format for everyone to check. But we're not quite there yet.

An BTW: if anyone should screw up, I'll contact them privately first and give him/her a chance to remedy that

Sounds ready for submission to me. Maybe some mastering with a multiband eq/compressor and some whooshes and swishes here and there and that's it Would be a shame not to enter it into the competition.
