That's one reason it's still marked as alpha. I'll probably add that this weekend.

The first three positions were announced here:

I watched it in the morning while lying in the bed and I was like WFT??? when I heard my track.
Thanks to all the voters, this really made me totally surprised! :D

I just saw that I was already informed two days ago by SpotlightKid via email, which was in my spam folder :?
So, it might be good to check you spam emails folder (which I usually don't do).

Congrats!
A little bit further in the stream there's a sheet shown with the results.
Peter 4th
I got 5th place.
Dunno the rest from the top of my head.

Also, we need a new challenge :-)
Who's got a cool idea?

Congrats to everybody!

And even if you didn't make it to the top three, pat yourself on the back, because there were a lot of awesome tracks.

@lilith Your track was actually my favourite, but as the organizer I didn't vote. But I guess it would have been hard anyway, so many great tracks to choose from!

Yes, I would like to hear your ideas! Don't know yet, when the next challenge will be, but we'll certainly do another one.

Let's brainstorm.

make a song in MuseScore. External samples allowed (or not)
make a song in Muse3 (aka The Great Debugging)
make a song with only a certain suite of plugins ; zam audio plugins, lsp, calf, the gx stuff
make a song in Ardour with only a-reasonable synth (any sound mangling or sampling allowed, because this is really tough)
make a song with your DE sounds (o.O wut?) , like the startup sounds, closing windows etc.

I don't play guitar but I'd love a guitar thing challenge. You guitar players probably have better ideas for that.

I like the idea of a challenge with recorded instruments (or any recorded sounds). It would probably be neccessary to set some restrictions to make it a real challenge.

One thing I'm strongly considering is making the next challenge Open Source only, i.e. no closed-source plugins allowed anymore, maybe even no proprietary DAWs.

Do you mean pre-recorded tracks, like a remix?

Opensource only is a good idea.
