How could I PIN a connection so it doesnt reset each time I choose a new track on a media player?

What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?

How could I PIN a connection so it doesnt reset each time I choose a new track on a media player?

Post by canezila »

Hi.
I am wondering if someone has a solution to something that is perplexing me.

I am wanting to run my audio through my linuxDSP peq-2A. When I switch tracks (doesnt happen if it runs through the playlist automatically) it loses the connection from deadbeef to my peq-2A then the audio card. Same with clementine.

Is it possible to enable some kind of ALWAYS-CONNECTED or PIN so that it doesnt reset? I usually use Carla or my standalone peq-2A-jack application.

Thanks.

I am running 22.04. Ubuntu Studio. I uninstalled some things and installed Cadence and KXStudio things. Then I pulled off most pulseaudio stuff and replaced it with pipewire.
