Issue with Bluetooth Mouse and scrolling after "wake-up"

What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?

Issue with Bluetooth Mouse and scrolling after "wake-up"

Post by pax-eterna »

So if i leave the PC for any length of time and it sorta goes to sleep, when I move the mouse to get it up again, the mouse still works but scrolling is slow to non-existent.

Does not happen after a re-boot or overnight turn off.

Any ideas?

thanks

I have a similar problem that my bluetooth mouse does not work at all after the computer wakes from sleep. Sometimes I stop/start bluetooth from the panel app and that fixes it, but sometime the panel app vanishes also. One thing that always works is to run the command as root (or sudo) "service bluetooth restart".

I found this -
sudo systemctl mask sleep.target suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target stops it from going to sleep in the first place...I was just away for about 3 hours and it was still ok, hadn't shut down - might have to adjust the display timer though :)

Seems to be working so far.
