I'm getting a new computer coming in with ryzen 7 4800U and I've head that it needs at least kernel 5.7 to work properly. Correct me if I'm wrong
AVLMX ships with an older kernel so...
Should I install and upgrade the kernel? Is there a rt-kernel of that version out there or should I get another such as low latency or liquorix?
Anyone with some experience with the ryzen 7?
Cheers all brights out there

Re: AVLinux MX-edition and Ryzen 7 4800U?
Hi,
AVL-MXE latest release comes with Kernel 5.9.1, I myself use it with a Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX.. I would be surprised if any other mainstream Linux OS is shipping with a much newer Kernel than that right now..lol

My openSUSE Leap 15.2 uses 5.3 kernel. Works with Ryzen 4800H.
