As I said, I cant really remember. Just, guitarix use not more or less from boost in v0.36 then in v0.41.
Maybe you could better use the debian folder from sid to build the pakage

Well, a bit late, but I remember what it was.
On older g++, like buster, the additional compiler flag

 -std=c++11

was needed.
On newer g++ it's already the default.
