pavucontrolI tried stopping pulseaudio. Alsa works fine and I can use the microphone fine. But I want to make pulseaudio recognize when I have the jacks plugged in and let me use it with the apps.

I have to use to switch to the profile "Analog Stereo Duplex (unplugged) (unavailable)" every time. This helps with apps outputting sound, but I can't use the microphone in the apps.
I tried stopping pulseaudio. Alsa works fine and I can use the microphone fine. But I want to make pulseaudio recognize when I have the jacks plugged in and let me use it with the apps.
