I'm writing my own application on a Raspberry Pi4 using the ALSA library and everything works fine with a single MIDI USB keyboard. But I can't work out how to make a second MIDI keyboard work simultaneously on another MIDI channel. Eventually I want to have an upper, lower and pedal board all connected on different MIDI USB ports. Does ALSA support multiple USB MIDI inputs and if so can you point me to where in the code it does this to see what I've messed up.
Thanks in advance
Can ALSA handle multiple MIDI keyboards
What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?
